The Weekly Tone

I recently had the opportunity to interview a few wildly successful entrepreneurs who, against all odds, have built companies worth millions. Most importantly, they've done it all without burning bridges, making enemies, or alienating the people that got them there.

You might even say, they did it the Really Rich way.

It seems there's a correlation between cash and a rock-solid network, even as the stakes grow.

It's not rocket science. It's as simple as being aware of your own power and influence — and not abusing it. Instead, use to shine a light on others.

When I asked my guests what they thought was the key to their success, they all agreed that it was their ability to create and nurture relationships.

They focused on building relationships with their team, customers, suppliers, and partners — making sure to always have mutual respect and appreciation.

They also worked hard to make sure that they never took advantage of their power and influence. They always made sure to give back, even if it was just a small gesture. They listened to their team's ideas and encouraged them to take risks, without expecting immediate success every time.

These entrepreneurs also weren't afraid to delegate tasks or ask for help. They understood that collaboration would be key to their success and weren't afraid to bring in others with different skills and expertise.

Finally, these entrepreneurs worked hard to build trust with the people around them. They were honest about their successes and failures and were open about their goals and ambitions. This created a sense of security for those around them and allowed them to build genuine relationships with their team, customers, suppliers, and partners.

The bottom line is this: if you want to build a successful business, you have to be willing to put in the work. But don't forget that relationships are just as important as hard work. When you nurture relationships, you can make more friends — even as you make millions.

This week, I'm taking meetings in Miami, Fl.
